Festival of the Historic Residences of Friuli Venezia Giulia: Villa Attems
In the province of Gorizia, Villa Attems in Lucinico is taking part in the initiative. This historic stately home, still owned by the family of the same name, comprises a small village opening onto a historic terraced park, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in Italy. Inside, visitors can see the fountain by Nicolò Pacassi, a well and a bunker dating back to the First World War. The barn and the old stables round off the tour.

Pianist and composer Stefano Bollani has brought together an ensemble comprising some of Italy’s finest jazz musicians and three up-and-coming talents to put on a once-in-a-lifetime concert. The documentary captures the collective joy of creating jazz in the name of the art of improvisation – a radical art form with no safety net, one that requires listening to others, and which is, above all, a way of being in the world.

As part of the Alienazioni Festival, the play based on the work of Edgar Lee Masters will be performed at the Kulturni dom on Saturday 18 April at 8.30 pm.

The book of 18 March – “What a mess in Via Babilonia”
The Trgovski Dom in Gorizia is hosting on Thursday 16 April the presentation of the book by Diana Bošnjak Monai.
The States of the Western Balkans are still still a difficult transition towards democracy following the break-up of Yugoslavia, awaiting entry into the European Union.
In this context marked by corruption, crime and interests in property, a grotesque and dystopian novel unfolds, deeply rooted in current affairs.

Friuli Station – Recital
The “Friuli Stazione” concert, taking place on Thursday 16 April in Borgo Castello, takes the audience on a journey that begins in Friuli, passes through Sicily and Tuscany, crosses the ocean, and finally ends in Argentina and the United States.
Featuring pieces with famous titles such as “Summertime”, “Sul puint di Braulins”, “Maremma amara” and “Vitti ‘na crozza”, ranging from jazz and blues to traditional songs and stories both real and imagined.

Tommaso Paradiso – Palasport Tour 2026: Date Zero
Tommaso Paradiso will headline the first major live music event at the PalaBigot in Gorizia.
On Wednesday 15 April , the Roman artist will hold the preview performance of his new tour at the refurbished venue on Via delle Grappate, which will host the staging, rehearsals and debut of the show, which will then tour the main Italian cities throughout the spring.
